Rudy Giuliani on Freedom

From the Rocky Mountain Chronicle - RUDY! we get this quote from Rudy Giuliani on his vision of freedom:

"Freedom is not a concept in which people can do anything they want, be anything they can be. Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do."

That is truly one of the more bizarre newspeak definitions of freedom I've ever heard. Unfuckingbelievable!

I despise the lies, the willful deceit and the callous disregard for the opinion of the people, only to toss it aside when we disagree....Fuck the state! We no longer BELIEVE a word you say! We have been lied to so many times, that even if you were to utter a truthful word, based on past actions, we would disregard it as rubbish! There is no hope that you will recover this citizen's trust...ever. Go jump while you still are able....before we push you off. And no, I am no longer afraid that you will trace me. Do it already! I have lost my fear in the way an innocent child finally loses fear of an abusive father. You have no chains on me ...I AM FREE, and therefore beyond your control, and in your desperate attempts to regain control of me, I laugh at you. Your pathetic attempts at refried historical conundrums render me bored.
